I'm sorry but I saw this on Passionford, and instantly had to get Steve's opinion:

Sapphs with  'badboy' bonnets actually look a little like Mark 2 Mondeos from the front - makes you wonder where Ford got their inspiration Wink

A potentially smart looking S2 ruined! Not to mention the red bumper inserts and mirror bases. Not for me at all!

Sorry guys but i had one on the old Orion

Depending on the car i dont mind it, for instance a car with angular styling could be ok (like the Mk4 Escort) but i would not bother on a performance car as it is only for looks after all.

The car has gone to heaven im afraid, and the splitter was found in a hedge (seriously) it came from a Seat i think, and fitted perfectly.

For anyone who's seen the latest copy of Fast Ford, there's a Saff in there wearing a badboy bonnet.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

It says quite clearly in the Owners manual, fiddling with the styling is a criminal offence.  Wheels and Morettes is where the line is drawn!

I do think the MK3 fez ones are particularly awful though, it's the raise bits where the lenses sit, just looks all wrong.

Incidentally Steve, do you got any bits of your Fiesta left?

Ha, yea, like the bloodly lot, minus the shagged old chasis!! Its in various sheds, lofts and garages, but i got it all. Recaro interior, Looms, power steering, vented bonnet, gauges, steering wheel, the lot! left the engine, but it was shagged, plus ive still got the frst lump under my bed in bits LOL. it'll all wait till i have the time, space and money to stick it in another shell. We can rebuild him......!
