their good headunits in the mk6`s the one in the st is awesome. they made em look like 3 seperate units to prevent it looking like a big slab of metal shoved into the dash. id have a mk6 fiesta anyday. steve should remember the courtesy car i got when my mk3 got sprayed wot fun we had in that!!! Evil

It is fairly punchy actually, but i can't read MP3 Cd's on it or plug in my external player. Id like to look inside your ST one evening if the chance arrives!

It's not just a Fiesta...it's a Fiesta Ghia Wink  Heated mirrors and windscreen I'd concede to, but not much else.  Besides, take it from me - leather seats in the winter is particularly antisocial.

I can't say i notice it too much in the winter........... however, it would be cool if my leather Recaros were heated....... but it wasn't an option on the ST200 as they're not Ford seats....... once again, the Ghia X has everything whoo!  Grin

WOW!!!!!!  Shocked thats a time warp, forgot all about that car!!  Grin

Car's definatly growing on me. Considering the car is the family normal edition with normal suspension, the handling is amazing. Thought it'd be much worse due to its size. The ST and Zetec S must be razor sharp! Daz?

Kissed 110mph last night (on a private session at a private track of course..). It got there noticiable easier then the last few days, which saw it shaking and struggling at around 80 odd!? I heard that these new ECU's learn your driving style, I wonder if that's the cause? It has become much much happier driving in higher rev ranges through all gears, and nothing physicial has changed obviously. I can be almost certain the last careful old dear never had it above 4k revs, the head's probably coked to hell!  Tongue

the st is brilliant i only drive it occassionally but it handles like a go-cart. 150bhp in a fiesta is superb as standard

I am beginning to realise this. Makes me wonder how the new focus rs/fiesta rs will handle!
I'm too afraid to push it and find the limit due to it's new'ness, plus i expect it won't be very pretty being that it's a base model etc. Eventually....

Like i was saying last night, this is the problem i now have lol........ the Mondeo is such a nice, strong, comfortable and well equipped car, anything less is now going to seem VERY basic unless its a Cossie, or Focus RS etc. As you can all imagine, the ST200 is honestly like a Rolls Royce compared to my Series 1, which had nothing at all of course, being the rare 'non custom' version that it was!

amen to that churchy, you buy the old one for speed and fun, not for comfort. When i eventually get something old and turbo'd, i'll drive it like such an asshole, it'll think it's being stolen every time i take it out!!!!

Oh yeah, i just mean my Series 2 was really nice to drive and handled really well, but the series one was stiff as fook as it had konis (like the S2) but they were set to hard and the car was also polybushed throughout lol!!
