I was under the impression it was standard (obviously not!). Matt - was it an option or just different versions?

Rear disc brakes were only fitted as standard on the 4x4 RS2000's in this country........... therefore my 2wd RS2000 just had drums on the back ahhh, cool, thx steve, i was wondering!

Sorry for delay. Of course The RS2000 have rear 2700mm DISC? rite? yes.....mmm, i think some versions do have drums at back 4x4 i think yes.
No, The car is all STOCK apart of the engine which is under of a LOOT of re-work/change or under constuction i could say. This mounth it will be alive again. Have the project going for almoust half a year by now. So I can't WAIT!

In the UK only the Mk5 and the 4x4 versions had rear discs. The Mk6 2wd only came with drum brakes at the rear, apparently a cost saving exersise by Ford.
To make up for this however the Mk6 2wd had 4 wheel ABS where as the others had to make do with front wheel ABS only.
