If its as good as he reckons, why did he sell it for less to a garage?

either he needed money via a quick sale, or doesnt need the money, and couldn't be bothered with the hassle of every c**k in essex turning up to kick the tyres, trying to offer £10k!!
I can only imagine the number and type of calls from all kinds of people you get when selling something like that privately

I had no end of people emailing me about the Series 1, offering stupid prices etc!!
..... luckily, i sold it within 24 hours of putting it on pistonheads so could just delete the emails

Looks good but its Small Turbo, Leather, and theres a little something missing from the boot.
Delete options dont surface everyday though, (rare car).

The Delete Aeropack option is just plain wrong - they don't look right! Rare maybe, but they're almost naked without the tail. Same as an RS500 - wouldn't look right.

Well the Cossie fund now stands at
-£600
, all i have to show for it is a shonky 17 year old Escort and a loft full of spares, not to mention a good inch of paperwork.
Its definatly been worth the struggle and i definatly bought the right one, as those who inspected it at Central day will agree.
Read all about it in the next news letter, photos to follow soon.

So true.
The paranoia's easy to live with. It's when the paranoia becomes real that you worry about it.
