I know it's not very exciting, but check this out, i thought it was pretty Cool -

Lucky bastard (the police car not the RS500 driver! Ha, what a suprise, its in essex too!

that is a promotional picture by the police (iirc) to send a message out saying whatever you have we have something faster.

It was a publicity stunt as Daz said. The Police were trying to say, you buy a cossie and we will still have something faster.

Oh and its a 3DR not an RS500.

Along the same theme, today Essex still have high power 'ANPR Interceptors' - Evos and Scoobies.

Yea tell me about it - I saw 3 scoobies and 2 evo's at the V Festival last year! I bet they all draw straws to get in that all day  Evil

Promo picture eh? Makes sense, but as you say, pretty cool tho
Just ensure you have an Evo RS200  Tongue (I happened to see an original one for sale for ?99,995!! I suppose there was only 20 made!)
