Pro Alloy Intercooler fitted this weekend!

Spent Friday afternoon stripping the charge cooler off the car and most of Saturday fiiting the intercooler. Although it wasn't as simple as i first thought it would be (and i'm still not sure everything is in the right place. ) i'm really happy with it.

Spent today cleaning and polishing and doing a few other little jobs.

P.S A big thankyou to Nash027 and the other lads from work who helped with fitting.

Right ok, so work has commenced once again at Hangar 15 Tuning.

At the start of March my car came off the road for a few bits and pieces to be done.

The turbo and manifold were removed, the standard Ford Manifold is a bit rubbish.

This is its replacement, a ceramic coated inconel steel tubular item.

This was bolted up with a  Ferriday Thermal exhaust plate between the manifold and the head to reduce temperatures in the head.

Also to be fitted is my Apexi boost controller. Only had this a year but started to get it wired in. Its still work in progress at the moment.

Will hopefully be finishing this off tomorrow.

Last weekend we started fitting EBC Ultimax grooved discs, Ferodo DS 2500 pads on the front and EBC Red Stuff pads on the rear.

Whilst the turbo was off I decided to get it sent off to have some work done at Turbo Dynamics, it came back on Wednesday just waiting for a few bits and pieces and then get it back on.

So far so good and there is still 2 days of the bank holiday weekend to go!

Hiya,

I've just realised that I've not updated this for ages. Not a lot has changed due to moving away with work, I'll try to do an update of the stuff since April last year and when I get back from Iraq I'll put up pics of the stuff to be fitted this year.

Here's the dyno graphs from APT back in June or July. When I get back I've got six pots to fit, KW coilovers and some polybushes all thanks to RSOC group buys. Grin

Got back on Wednesday, here's some of the future mods to be fitted, also got polybushes on the way.

KW Variant 3's.

AP 6 Pot front brake kit.

Hope to get the brakes on soon, then once the polybushes and H&R anti roll bars are here get all the suspension done.

Does Nathan know you have these coilovers? If not he may be interested to know what you think of them as he did mention something about 'em while we were at the 'Ring.

He might know i've got them but they are still in the box mate...   Cry. Trying to find time to get stuff done at the moment is crazy, June has already been taken up by courses, so i'm away for a month and have got to try to get an MOT in there somewhere. Nevermind hopefully it will all be done for Ford Fair.  Grin

Heres a few pics of the AP's fitted.....

Damm Ring/driving the car again has given me the bug also, under the bonnet is currently under going a different theme and my dream suspension/engine setups are all on the wish list and hope to be done for the start of next year.  occasion14

I'm interested in what your plans are for your engine bay, I really fancy a white cam cover for mine but not sure.
