Top hose (rad) got mega hot from intercooler pipe resting on it (shit Pro Alloy design) and it ballooned, split and popped off half way along the start/finish straight (I was unaware of this at the time) and dumped all my coolant.
Which covered my nearside front wheel just nicely for me to pitch into Riches at about 80mph.
Braking & traction in general was interesting to say the least so we span but luckily didn't hit anything.
Cars been sat up ever since as I'm waiting for Roose Motorsport to make the full hose kit for the FRS as I don't see the point in replacing the hose with a standard item, especially as I'm replacing all the shit Ford spring clips with jubilees, so I may aswell do the hoses while I'm at it!
Then I need to make a bracket to hold the pipe off the rad pipe, which is something I was going to do anyhow.
Have also been without a drivers seat for two weeks, and 4 weeks prior to Snetterton.
So its touch and go if the car will be ready for Ford Fair or the Ring, or an evening session at Snetty I'd like to do on the 30th.

Sorry Matt, was really excited about this as I intially didn't intend to go due to finances but then changed my mind. Since then me & Gemma have made an expensive purchase (house) so looks like I can't make the trip after all, as we'll be moving in around the time of the trip & need ? to furnish the place! Wish I could come as I've missed the last three now.
Looks like Charlie, Dad & all the Boardmans have also pulled out, if it wasn't for this then I probable would still have gone.
Have a great time anyhow bud, be warned, its like a very addictive drug!

Sorry to hear that you cant make it, but trust me buying a house is the best thing you can do. Give it a year and you will get the hang of this morgage lark and be able to start saving again
