Well, some of you may be interested  Roll Eyes

Obviously the Orion is for sale, and I've got the practical daily runner instead, til I sort out what I'll be having for a bit of a project.

Anyway, here it is, a 1996 Mondeo 1.8 LX

Basic spec is as follows.

Engine, 1800cc Zetec, chrome spark plug cover, fusebox cover, manifold cover and MAF sensor cover. Chrome intake tract with cone filter. Janspeed dual exit exhaust.

Wheels, 17" six spokes with Falken 205/40 ZR17s

Body, RS bumpers and skirts with RS wheel arch extensions, foglights fitted, electric mirrors fitted, Ghia grille, colour coded rear plate surround, MK2 sail panels, smoked side repeaters.

Interior, Ghia X heated/electric leather seats, black steering wheel and steering column, footwell lights, electric sunroof, MK2 trip computer and dash insert, rear courtesy lights, Focus Ghia gearknob, chrome interior handles, maplights, custom door cards, illuminated vanity mirrors.

Audio, Sony head unit, Infinity 6.5" components, Infinity 5x7" coaxials, Alpine amp, Sony 1200W 12" sub

Not to everyone's taste's I'm sure, but it's a nice, comfortable daily runner, a doddle to drive and live with, and plenty of space in it.

Got a few plans, bit of lowering, fit the boot spoiler and maybe fit electric rear windows too. Possibly do the full black interior conversion to so it has the proper dash etc. Maybe a bit of paintwork and some better brakes too.

Just need to decide what I want for a proper car now  Evil

Cheers mate Smiley

She does drive lovely, very very comfortable, very easy to live with, so it's just spot on  Grin

I'd love a 2wd Saph, but sadly I'm just not sure it's really viable, as may be going back to college in Sept so that has to take priority really. The two front runners at the moment are a MK5 RS2000 or a MK4 XR3i for a bit of a project as I've been offered one stupid cheap. We shall see though, won't be for a while yet!
