Hello people well the day all cossie owner knows will happen sooner or latter came to me today.

Saph on a low loader Cheesy

Dropped the good lady off at Ely train station, and decided to come back the inetesting route instead of A14. i wasn't hanging about untill got on really bumpy road[A1101] so backed off. Looked over at oil pressure gauge[turns out light doesn't work on standard clocks] to be confronted with 20psi:( Car was fine no nocks etc so thought try limp back to camp.

Got to Big A11 round about and hear the tappets start to make noise so pull straight into services shut her off. Turns out oil return feed from turbo has split and just been dumping oil over road and pretty much drained the sump.

Need to get another pipe and fill her with oil see if she is still making any noises she shouldn't. I am praying nothing to major as don't want to use money i have just put in savings. If it has then fuck this engine will build one was going for next year now instead.

See you all Tuesday i will be getting pissed as Paul will be driving.

Well lads with the help of Paul had the car in hanger at lunch. Put new pipe on and filled her with oil, started her and as i thought noisey tappet still there.

Didin't panic though as old man had a 2ltr DOHC Granada and that made same noise once and cleared its self.

Took her around the out side of the airfield slowly but threw her around a few corners to get oil moving and noise is gone:) Fingers x not done any other damage but only time will tell, she feels quiet enough though.
