And no, it's not the sort that you're all thinking of

Well, many of you will know of my affinity for MK5/6 Escort RS2000s, despite their slight underdog status. Anyway, I'm not just a fan of the road car, but an absolute geek when it comes to the rally versions used during the 1990s by Gwyndaf Evans etc.
Sadly, very few other people seem to care that much, and not a huge amount is widely known about them. So, to rectify that, I've been working away on collecting some information on them over the last few months, and it's slowly been coming together into a website. It isn't finished, it doesn't even cover 10% of the information I have on these cars to be honest, but it does give at least some insight into what they were, who built them and what they achieved.
It can be found at
www.rs2000kitcar.comIt's being added to all the time with new pictures and details as I find stuff out, and we're hoping to add a shop soon too to sell a few bits and pieces. I know it won't be up your street necessarily, but I'd appreciate it if you at least had a look and a read through of some of it. I know some pages are a bit text-heavy at the moment, but we've not added loads of images yet, as I'm trying to sort out some licence issues with a few professional photographers to enable us to have some really high quality stuff on there too.
We've also got a facebook page which can be found on the link from the home page, and details of our youtube channel can also be found on the facebook page. I'd really appreciate as many likes as possible, and posting details of the site on your own walls would be great too!
It's not just a geeky website either; we hold one of the largest collections of RS2000 rally memorabilia in the UK, one of the largest picture collections, and also have access for numerous original and reproduction works parts too, so it's all getting quite exciting

I hope the admin folk don't mind this blatant plug, and I know some of you won't find it too interesting, but there is some interesting snippets of RS history in there for one of the lesser known, but pretty successful RS rally cars.
Enjoy
