As per the recent newsletter articles, the above event will be taking place on the 26 November.  It will be the same format as per previous Heart Foundation days, with the aim to raise money by giving passenger rides around Snetterton for cash Wink.  I will be there in the Escort and they would like the support of the group in the form of a club stand (FOC), so who is going to be up for this?

If nothing, at least click on the link and "like" them to help spread the word Smiley.

1.  Escort Cosworth - Julian Webb
2.  Focus RS - Nath Relph
3.  Sapphire Cosworth - Chris Pope
4.  Sapphire Cosworth - Bill & Wayne

Not going down too well is it ............. Not many even viewed the thread

Even if you can't spare the cash to go in something, the spectating should be good as there is such a variety of good stuff set to be there going round.

Have copied some info on pricing from another Forum................

The race cars will be in three classifications with prices set at £20, £40 and £60
Stuff like the Aston Vantage GT4 car, BTCC cars will be in group A @ £60 etc etc

Supercars/ Fast road are also in three groups. £20 £40 £80.
the £80 will be the Blue Riband cars such as Enzo, MP4, XJ220 etc.

Classics will be the same but will have rides set at £5 and £10 as well on the 100 circuit...

Final car list.

Due to general lack of interest for a club stand, there will just be an "infield" area for "interesting" cars.  I will advise you on how to get on to this when I have more info Smiley.

Any idea if that's the same Mr Brammer in a Subaru WRC that was at the Snetterton Stages yesterday? He retired late afternoon, heard it was a blown engine!

No idea.....

Anyway, this is the reply I got from Kev the organiser:
No passwords, secret winks needed. Everyone will be asked for £5 on gate. Once over bridge, you will be met by either Rob or Danny (Orange Hi Viz with names on back) they will direct you into the 'interesting' section.

However, if a group of RS's want to meet up outside prior to coming in, then they could have their own 'club' area too...but we would need to know prior to this how many there would be...

I was out all day at ND - I was only able to do 10 minute stints as that is as long as the brake pads lasted Wink.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22tqRTDxCbc

I only bothered doing one video though, as the boost was stuck in low due to a sticking wastegate after this session.

However, everything is sorted (wastegate arm replaced) and new pads fitted Smiley.

What group is yours in mike? I wouldn't mind a ride. Me and Kelly both wanted a ride in a lambo but none on the list. So a 500bhp escos will have to do  Smiley

Awesome pics!  No-one has any idea how gutted I am that i missed it!

Watched the video Mike, the only thing that videos can't convey is the kick in the kidneys that a YB gives you!

How many rides did you give out?  Do you know which car was the most popular?

I think it was 5 or 6 - the Mclaren seemed to be the most popular, despite being driven very slowly.  I think it was just because people could say they'd been out in one.

I guess a large proportion of the passengers were literally spoiled for choice!  From the pics you posted I know that I would be!

Awesome pics, are they Gavins handy work??  He's pretty good with a camera! thumbsup

As I took a staggering 1950 pictures at the Wales WRC a few weeks back which I haven't had time to sort through I thought better of taking mine!  It was too cold for me to take my hands out of my pockets anyhow!  Grin

That's the curse with digital cameras - you can take loads of pictures without worrying about getting a rubbish one, but then you need to sift through them all to find your favourites! lol
