I was going to call this the "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" thread, but this will do. Grin  I feel that as we all share the same suffering of a broken Ford from time to time, we should share the times when our generally trusty steeds let us down.  I'll get the ball rolling:

Daz's Saff - when was the last time you saw this out in the fresh air?!?

My rotor arm failed during an overtake on the A134:

And who can forget this epic failure of XR-Poo-I vs physics:

I don't really have any pictures I don't think!

My RS2000 flooded outside my girlfriend's house the other week if that counts  Grin

Nice to see a pic of Daz's Saph though, he needs to get the old girl back out!

^ My attempt at testing an Escort cabriolets rollover barat 50 mph. It survived pretty well lol

Churchy's Saph being inspected by the AA after the throttle cable snapped on the way to Ford Fair. After it was 'fixed' and we started making our way again my Capri's throttle managed to get stuck open briefly  Shocked I believe it felt left out on the attention from the AA men  Tongue

I take my first comment back - I'm gonna rename this to the HAHAHAHAHAHAH thread. Crying

It's gotta be said though we had that new throttle cable fitted pretty quick! thumbsup

this leads to me a question i've always had - did the AA fix it, and what exactly do they carry with them in terms of parts?! I assume a number of generic belts and some jubie clips?!!

Pretty much.  I think churchy's throttle cable was crimped on with brute force, and held together with hope.

The AA man didn't have a rotor arm specifically for my car, only had one that "looked similar" and I'd need to change it ASAP, as well as pay for the one he gave me!

The engine was good enough for an indicated 130mph with the roof down (on a private rosd of course...)  Cool

The fact it was wheelspinning an indicated 130 on the mud is neither here nor there Tongue
