They are a good laugh. I did look at a black MK5 but it was a right shed. This needs work, but I can't complain at the price I paid!

Couple more of the phone pics. I will get some better ones, but want to give it a polish really. Phone makes it look much more pink than it is!

So far, I've bought oil and filter. Need to sort the parts to change the oil pressure relief valve, as I think that's playing up, so taking it easy so far. Should hopefully be sorted next week though.

Also ordered some of the satin silver interior door handles from a Puma, as they're a straight fit. Will try and find a nicer factory gearknob and replace a couple of bits of damanged trim, and that will be about it inside. It has a factory CD player already. Low spec generally though, no air con, heated screen or pass air bag, but it does have electric height adjustment on the front seat, which my old one didn't have, despite having all the other options!

Outside plans are basic. Polish it, tidy it up, and leave it. May refit the amber repeaters at some point, as I do have a set.

Might get a few minor performance tweaks, but nothing major!

Yeah, got some floating about from an old car, so will clean them up and fit them. I don't mind the clears, but they're a little faded, so I'd rather have tidy ambers fitted. Can always add different ones later if I want a different look.

Both parcel shelf supports are broken, but won a pair on ebay tonight for a tenner, so will get those fitted as soon as they arrive!

I have made my first modification too, which I shall add a picture of shortly!

Here we go! My first, albeit subtle, modification  Grin

These have been commissioned by www.rs2000-16v.com, so thought I'd add one to the car. Also been onto the mags asking whether they'll be running anything on the event, as I think the 20th birthday of the car that won the 1996 British Rally Championship, the 1998 Irish F2 Championship, had two class championship wins at the hands of a certain Gwyndaf Evans and numerous podium finishes deserves a bit more recognition!

I have to agree that the I4 is a much underrated engine - personally I think the Mondeo should've been blessed with it.
