When the RS500s were racing in the late eighties/early nineties there were two well known rivals: Andy Rouse and Rudy Eggenberger.

The Eggenberger cars were distinctively well dressed, being black with red Texaco livery, whilst Rouses Cosworths were typically blue and white.

Eggenberger kept his cars immaculate, and was backed by Ford.  Even under the bonnet, they were pristine before and after every race.  Rouses cars weren't so 'bufty', but were equally impressive.  Rouses cars may have been a little grubby and battle scarred, but still went like stink and as long as they stayed in front, that didn't matter. Wink

So, the question is, are you a Rouse student or an Eggenberger one?

As a car the eggenberger's cars looked simply stunning and what made me want to own a Cossie in the first place.

I must admit i do like me car to be clean. I am not a total bufty though, thats why i have taken some of the shinney bits off mine as they just arn't my cup of tea.
