I realised the other day when talking to Ben i hadn't seen any of you at the shows this year for a catch up.
I did look about at Ford Fair for the stand but couldn't find it, then i couldn't make it to ND
How is everyone and the cars keeping? and hope the meets are still going strong.

Mine's still running! lol  Just about hanging in there Wink  It's going to spend some time with Harvey Gibbs in the new year for a much needed 350 brake. Grin

Show attendance has been pretty poor this year tbh mate - not surprised you didn't see us!  Ford Fair was probably the biggest turn-out though, we were over on the gravel area the other side of the bridge.

How's things going in your part of the world?

Hi mate, I thought I bumped into you briefly this year or was that now last year?!  Shocked

For me its been a really poor show year, other plans seem to have gotten in the way of all apart from Central Day and Gala Day.  Head v Brick Wall

Hopefully that'll change next year though!

Hope you and Paul are keeping well!  occasion14

Chris our show attendance has been poor aswell this year. I only did 3 this year, RS Cumbria [really good show nice and chilled out], RS Castle Combe [Amazing show you all need to make a treck over to this one defo worth it], then Ford Fair which was good as allways [Shame i killed the saph or it would have been on the FF stand].

Chris that's why i wouldn't have seen you all the FF if you were over there, can never be bothered to go over the bridge when the show is so big all ready. The car isnt to good, I spun a big end the night before i was going down to Combe, was going rather fast coming up to a round and must have oil surged it under braking as it was knocking as soon as i got into the round about.

Being home has it plus points but i do miss the RAF alot, also left some good mates down there. I also miss the meets, good laugh and a very welcoming club Norfolk group. I would like to try and get my car on the stand for one show a year so i can have a good catch up with everyone.

Nath i think it was last year at ND when we had a chat buddy. Paul is good he was best man along with my other best mate Lee at my wedding in August.

'ello ello Grin

I saw photos of the wedding on facebook, congratulations mate thumbsup

As you can see from the signature, i've now joined the 'i've owned one of all 3 RS Turbos' club with the addition of my little Fiesta turbo which has now taken the Escort's place as garage ornament!

Steve it looks a nice car mate, allways had a soft spot for the Fez Turbo's. Look amazing on standard wheels, the only other wheel they look nice on is 3dr wheels.

What happened to the series 2? just fancied a change?

Aye, exactly my thoughts! If i was ever to change the wheels (which i doubt i will tbh!) it would only be for 3 door Sierra Cossie wheels, they look spot on! Yep, just fancied a change really and especially something that wasn't totally standard..... but had standard looks as i wasn't finding the standard Series 2 as exciting as i once did. Enter the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' 195bhp fiesta turbo!  thumbsup
