That would be why then!

I did pop over that side once or twice, but didn't get much of a chance for a proper look around. Then when I went over for a look, it was half empty as people leave so early!

Seems odd to split it up as the RSOC groups are usually all together, but with the Paul Swift display and things (which I thought was a bit boring tbh) they didn't have the usual space in that area.

We were supposed to be up on the grass banking near the concourse/trade areas but we moaned and got moved down on to the tarmac area as they didn't give us much space, so we had the best spot we've ever had to be honest.

See it from both sides really though, as I've shown with clubs for a long time that are out in the wilderness over that side of the bridge. It is frustrating being over there as a lot of people don't bother to come and look. I think it's a shame the RSOC groups were split up, but it is nice to see some more of the non-RS clubs getting into the main show area and getting some attention.

As said over on the other thread, i wasn't impressed at all with that stand space, just looked all mixed up and not as organised as usual. The local group stands are always on the huge tarmaced bit next to where the cars for sale usually are but again, last year i noticed that half this area was full of ST's and the RSOC had to share the area and this year we were dumped the other side of the bridge on all the gravel and shingle crap...............i did notice FEOC right in the middle of the action tho Jon, a prime position indeed! Shame i didn't spot any of the old faces LOL!

Yeah I was really pleased with where we ended up. Think it was nice that some of the smaller clubs were in some nice positions, as it gives them a chance to get noticed, as obviously the shows can end up very biased towards the big clubs like RSOC and all the ST owners groups.

I'm not surprised you didn't recognise many, we had so many new faces this year! Was disappointed I didn't get to see you lot or any of the cars though. Roll on the meet this month  Grin
