Nearly ready for mot now! Just need to figure out why the windscreen washers don't work. Me and Wayne fitted the grp A fuel pump and reconed cradle. I've made all new fuel lines as the old ones had seen better days. I flatted the car down and mate Jonny came and machine polished and then hand polished the whole car  thumbsup

I spoke to Joe at Bluesprint yesterday and he has got me a modified .63 housing and has also ordered a set of grey injectors ready for when it's ran in.
The final spec of the engine
4x4 head with bd14 inlet
200block with 10 long studs
Standard compression pistons with valve cut outs
Wrc headgasket
T34.63
Running 32psi
Grey injectors
60mm rs500 intercooler

i'm thinking of getting some different wheels already as the tyre catches the front arch. i did think 205/40/16 on the front but can't g any in a decent make Sad only things like nankang ditchfinders

wingy's car just sits in the garden, it hasnt moved for about 2 yrs maybe longer. all it needs is the exhaust welding up and to have the management fitted and mapped.
only thing is he just got his own place and is skint all the time now lol

Matt you can tell your mate I want £400 for the escos alloys.
Yes Daz still got all the rs parts and the engine is still in the van Cry my bro has a escos replica in Polaris grey, 18in azevs, gaz coilovers, cossie brakes and 2.3rs2k engine with jenvey tb's on EFI Technology management. It sat there that long it needs bodywork now. My old man knocked the wheelie bin over on it and cracked one of the rear quarter panels. Wingy did buy some full size rear quarter panels but they are a pain in the arse to fit

He can give me the engine if he wants  Grin

Remember seeing that at a meet a few years back, looked pretty decent. In a nice colour too.

Should definately get it sorted!

That reminds me! I need to get a headlining. I replaced the front abs sensors earlier but the light is still on Sad I'll try replacing the rears tomorrow and if that doesn't cure it it must be the abs ecu. The brake servo seals had gone and fluid was dripping off my inner wing Cry I changed that for a new one this afternoon and just have to bleed the rear brakes when I change the sensors

I've changed all 4 sensors as I couldn't get a good reading from any of them. I changed the servo and also tried a different abs ecu from my mates car. The orange abs light never goes off, it's on from the moment you turn the key

Mine was the same, turned out the level sensor in the cap was fudged - bridge the 2-pin multiplug to the fluid reservior to rule it out.

If it's 2wd ABS, you need to have the Orange VII relay in the fuse box - this is an inhibitor relay that cuts power to the system while the ignition's at III during cranking.  4x4's have this built into the ECU.  You can't mix and match looms and ECUs from 2wd and 4x4 - they're electrically different, though the hydraulic unit's basically identical.

Does the pump motor run when you turn the key to I?  I'm guessing it does if the red brake light goes out...

I changed the servo cap when I fitted the new servo.

The ecu I used was from a 2wd same as mine. However the plug wouldn't fit on the ecu as my mates ecu had little pins in 3 of the 5 holes either side. I took the casing off the plug to fit it Cry
