Yes i know it is only July but it is that time again....

We are now starting to look into venues and events for this years Christmas meals.

Although i know we cannot please everyone of you, we will do our best.

What we would like is your opinions on previous events, what you liked/did not like about them, and if you did not  go to certain events go why not?

We would also be interested in any recommendation you have for this year.

I look forward to your comments  Funky Banana

Put your name down mate. Wink

Last year we went to the Holiday Inn in Norwich - 4 course meal, Queen tribute band, and a disco afterwards.  And you can book a room to stay the night too. thumbsup

I always used to like the Christmas meals @ Dunston Hall, i know some didn't like them but for £20 it was a good night out and the food i thought, was always fine! Gotta love a carvery Wink My own personal opinion is that the Holiday Inn is too expensive and although the Queen tribute band are excellent, the food isn't for me either............. i only want main and dessert, not 4 tiny courses so left half of my rather expensive meal when we went in 2008! This was the key reason for me missing 2009's Christmas meal after going  3-4 years previous to that............ in the end tho it turned out our work do was the same night, so worked out ok.

Just my own thoughts, i know a lot of people liked the Holiday Inn and thats all good  thumbsup
