Well as you can see my run of good luck with the old gal did eventually run out, this is what happens when i go for a gentle drive then bump into my brother. Head v Brick Wall

Because i got a "little" sideways coming of a roundabout then trying to turn into a T junction i swacked the curb a little bit and as you can see its pushed the whole rear end over slightly. Head v Brick Wall

My baby returning home today, Thanks Nathan

This just goes to prove that Ford didn't need to bother with 4x4 on the Focus....  Grin

I was going to say maybe you need to practice some more, but perhaps not near a kerb in future  Grin

Are building it into another shell then? Got one already? If so, that's bloody impressive!

Look at the top of the nsr door, and the dent on the opposite side.  Looks like the rear end has twisted round a bit.

oh crap i see what you mean. like the sub frame's moved inside the shell. very bad times. in terms of body structure, how different is a normal saff to a cossie? can you use a 1.8l for example? clearly you'd need to shift a lot across

Shells are essentially the same to be honest. Main difference is a 4WD shell has an extra bump in the transmission tunnel to clear the extra gubbins for 4WD.

Don't think there's much difference otherwise, except what it says on the logbook of course, which would have a big influence on value!

Mr Rainbird told me about a 4x4 shell at Harveys with a rear beam and diff, in white and is complete with dash and leather interia just got to try and sort out some funds, have been told it could be jigged straight but would in the end cost more than the other shell cos would need to be painted again.
