ESCORT GTI PROJECT

Hi all, you may remember my post "is a escort gti suitable for your club" well finally the GTI is being transported from my mums next week a bargin at £60.00 for 75 miles.

I gave the GTI a quick look today and its not in a good state, its covered in moss and green crap,s  got small dent in bonnet, rear wing and front wing. The immobiliser is still playing up but I hope to resolve this asap. The brakes are sized and the tyres are knackered and all this before i even get it running!

Mind you the good points are, still cant find one in this colour, the interior is mint, only 63k on the clock and shed loads of potential.

My plans include turbo conversion want approx 220 bhp, full body respray and mods I really like Chip Foose's work and will look at some of his work for inspiration on creating that sleeper look and then for the ICE  I want a full touch screen TV/SAT NAV/BLUETOOTH, Rear screens, Subs etc.

Over Easter will take pics and hopefully we will join you all on the next meet as looking for advice and contacts for my plans!lol
