Hi All, I am back out in Cairo sadly with my pride and joy locked under cover in my Norfolk garage. Hardly got use out of it over Christmas, 300bhp, FWD and snow dont work, was hilarious tho with the TC off.
We now have 3k on the clock and a trip to Scotland beckons end of March to clear the throat and maybe release some more ponies.
My question is this, when is current RS production ending ?
Lastly , clipped the edge of a kerb and have a small nick that needs repairing. Anyone any ideas for the North norfolk area?
Thanks all...

I don't know when production's ending but being in Cairo isn't putting miles on the clock!  Get back here and drive it!

Where in Scotland are you going?  Having driven to Elgin twice, I can tell you the A9 can be 'fun'. Wink

I am from Scotland so I go up regulalryl to see friends and have many roads in my memory to enjoy. I can give you a few great rarely used roads to enjoy. The most memorable from last visit was a high speed blast through the M74 near Moffat. Awesome motorway and the R32 golf couldnt keep up. The motorway was empty and runs through hills and forests with giant sweepers and clear veiw straights. Occassionally the police sit on the bridges. The best driving road however is from Fort William to Skye. This road has to be driven to be believed. Amazing scenery, with switchbacks, straights along side lochs and a ribbon of tarmac that clings to the mountain sides. Skye isnt bad too but can be very wet. The a9 is good but on the west coast you will find some great stretches like the road to Oban from the south. In April virtually empty of holiday traffic and normally dry in Scotland. The A83 to Oban is the one to look at.
