Right, as mentioned above please do not vote for something you feel you would not take part in, as the most popular items will be organised and actually take place. The last thing i want is to go to all the effort of planning an event and then everyone says 'OH i can't afford it this month'

I am open to other suggestions please let me know and i can add them to the poll.

 thumbsup

To be honest Matt, all those options are very good! The karting was excellent a couple of years ago, very much enjoyed that, the BBQ and show and shine events both went down well last year and the Lotus tour would be coolio, as would the treasure hunt. Never done one of them!

The only one i didn't go for was the rolling road day, as my car would not take part thumbsup

i'd actually be sadly interested to see how close my current car is to the '2i when it was on it's death bed!!

Me and the Mrs would def be up for a tour of Lotus, We live quite close and Ive sneaked a peek at there test track a few times when they were testing the new Evora and once tried to race a prototype when they was calling it the "Lotus Eagle" but the driver wasn't interested, not sure why? could it of been cause he was on the A11 or maybe he didn't like my works car (Jaguar X type) cant blame him!

As for the other ideas, carting is awesome and would be up for the BBQ.

I know F1 is not everyones idea of fun but we are off to Silverstone later in the year for the weekend, if anyone else wants to join us feel free, will prop go down thursday or friday morning and camp on site.

Keep the votes coming guys, Looks like i shall be organising another go Karting trip. Would you like to rope in another car club to make up the numbers as we will need to have at least 20 drivers to get the track to ourselves.

Big power club
Piston heads
Vauxhall club
etc

I'm sure we can do 20 between us, that'll be well easy, no? I'd bring my missus and her brother and so that's 3 to start with!

I was going to suggest that. Scoobycity are a pretty active club, and I'd have an interest on both sides... Grin
