Just a few random pics really, i had the Escort wax oyled @ my friend's garage a couple of weekends back (you may have noticed the smell of waxoyl coming off the car at the meeting lol!) and we finally had a good chance to have a look for the first time at the underside of the car.............. and its minty mint!!  Cool  thumbsup

............. oh and btw, heres a pic from September 2006 of G989 PRA, at the same place, on the same ramp, having the same thing done, with the same faces in the pic! a case of de-ja-vu me thinks!!  Grin

You should put them up as a "spot the difference" in the next newsletter Wink

It didn't smell to bad actually.  If I can get the underside of mine into a state where the waxoyl won't just cover the rust, I'll get mine done too. Grin

My god, if the official club photographer couldn't get pictures then who could have?! Is there a RS black hole under your car?!

Shame, would have been good to see that. Are you getting all the doors and Cills Waxoyl'd inside as well? I've seen some articles on that, seems like a fair old job  Undecided

haha yeah i know what you mean, was a bit gutted they didn't come out.......... i still don't think my camera is very well tho after being dropped @ central day so i'll blame it on that lol!

As for the wax oyling, just the underside, round the front and round the arches etc was done, didn't go quite so far as to do the sills and doors etc. One small thing to consider tho is that on my old S2, everything was wax oyled including within the engine bay and everything as that car was my daily, all weather transport........... within a short time, the engine bay was black as the dirt and crap all stuck to it!! Wouldn't do an engine bay again and besides, this one is simply a second car so hopefully won't be out in all the winter salt etc Smiley

btw, you haven't even seen it yet mate, i've gotta take you out in it!!
